Bobby York, 70, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 in Wichita Falls, TX.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John D. Otley, pastor of City View Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, TX officiating. Burial will be Hope Cemetery in Henrietta, TX under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.

Mr. York was born August 21, 1942 in Aransas Pass, TX to Roy Harmon and Irene (Pearson) York. He married Sonya Sheppard on April 25, 1987 in Wichita Falls, TX. He was retired from Pierce Sales in Henrietta and a member of the Grace Temple Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Sonya York of Wichita Falls, TX; three sons, Roy York of Henrietta, TX, David York and his wife Christi of Henrietta, Paul Wallace and his wife Kanna of Iowa Park, TX; two daughters, Tammy Watson and her husband Matthew of Grandfield, OK, and Paula Randall of Needville, TX; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Pat Wilson of Lubbock, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Leon and Jerry York and one daughter in law, Becky York.

Family visitation will be at the Davis Funeral Home Sunday evening, January 20, 2013 from 6-7 PM.
